Faster, Lighter & Safer. Mt Fuji Night Ascents

+15 Years and almost 100 winter ascents of Mt Fuji has made us experts in the various styles of climbing it possible. Every winter we do versions of night ascents, reserving the fastest & lightest version for special teams training for the Himalayas, but now we will open this up to anyone thinking they have what it takes.

In many ways this is climbing Mt Fuji at it’s best, when the mountain is most stable, the climbing it’s most sublime and the timeline the fastest. Climbing Mt Fuji at night in winter allows us to use special strategies unavailable to day ascents, with the fastest times we have seen on Mt Fuji being done this way.

NOTE; these are not ‘sunrise’ ascents, and follow a very different timeline and strategy.

Strategy & timeline

Our specifics of strategy are closely held secrets, developed with Japan’s top alpinists. We use our dozens of Mt Fuji winter summits to inform us of the best routes, with every trip unique to the day and team.
